KP Assembly security staff complete specialised training programme

The Directorate of Training and Capacity Building of the Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Assembly Secretariat, in collaboration with the Central Police Office (CPO) Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, has successfully completed the first phase of a specialised training programme for assembly security personnel.
The two-week training programme was held at the Police Training School Shakas from July 20 to 31, 2026, under the vision of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Assembly Speaker Babar Saleem Swati and the directives of the assembly secretary.
Eight security officials of the assembly secretariat received practical training in modern security-related areas, including physical fitness, safe handling of weapons, access control, search and frisking procedures, and professional ethics. At the conclusion of the programme, Acting Director Training Muhammad Asif Khan, Assistant Director Training Muhammad Ghazan Khan and Training and Capacity Building Officer Jabbar Ali Khan visited the Police Training School Shakas to review the training activities and observe the performance of the participants. The officials appreciated the efforts of the instructors and training staff for providing professional guidance. Commemorative shields were also presented to the director of the police training school and members of the training team in recognition of their cooperation and services.
