ISLAMABAD: The Pakistan Medical and Dental Council (PM&DC) has rescheduled the Medical and Dental College Admission Test (MDCAT) from August 16 to September 20, on the directions of Prime Minister of Pakistan. In a statement issued on Thursday, the council said the decision was taken “to ensure the smooth, secure and transparent conduct of the examination while facilitating all candidates.” According to PM&DC, all other terms, conditions and examination arrangements will remain unchanged unless notified otherwise. The council urged candidates, parents and educational institutions to regularly check the official PM&DC website and its verified communication channels for updates and instructions. “PM&DC appreciates the understanding and cooperation of all stakeholders and regrets any inconvenience caused,” the statement added.
