ISLAMABAD
Speaker National Assembly (NA) Ayyaz Sadiq has expressed ignorance about dialogue between PTI and government. The inside details of the meeting held between NA speaker and PTI Chief Whip Amir Dogar a day before have come to open.
According to sources speaker NA has given no invitation to PTI for talks in this meeting.
Agenda of next NA session and schedule came under discussion in the meeting. Speaker office sources have said Prime Minister and Speaker NA have extended invitation to opposition for talks several times.
But opposition has not given positive response.
Speaker NA did not say any thing with reference to talks during this meeting.
On being contacted, Speaker NA said he has not extended any invitation to PTI for talks.
He said that the matters of budget and NA next session came under discussion in the meeting.
He said if any talks have been held between federal minister Tariq Fazal Chaudhry and Amir Dogar with reference to dialogue between PTI and government then it is not in his knowledge.
