AJK Election Commission has decided re-polling in 23 polling stations of two constituencies of district Bagh LA-15 Bagh-2 and LA-16 Bagh-3.
The polling in these two constituencies will be held on August 15.
Chief Election Commissioner (CEC) Justice (Retd) Ghulam Mustafa Mughal said the decision for re-polling has been taken in the light of reports received from respective returning officers. Re-polling will take place in 9 polling stations of LA-15 Bagh-2 and 14 polling stations of LA-16 Bagh-3.
According to Election Commission (EC) results of 204 out of 213 polling stations regarding LA-15 Bagh-2 have been received while result of 172 out of 186 polling stations in respect of LA-16 Bagh-3 have been received.
Re-polling will take place at polling stations 114, 135, 143. 144, 145, 146. 147, 148 and 186 in LA-15 Bagh-2.
Re-polling will be held at polling stations No 28, 29,40, 49,50,51,77, 91, 109,110,111,112,143 and 149 on August 15.
It is pertinent to mention here Sardar Sajid Abbasi candidate of Awami Dast-e-Bazoo and PPP candidate and Prime Minister Azad Kashmir Faisal Mumtaz Rathore have been declared successful in LA-14 Dhir Kot, Bagh Gharbi and LA-17 Haveli respectively.
