KARACHI: A major development regarding development work in Sector 24-B has been reported by the Karachi office of the Federal Government Employees Housing Authority (FGEHA). On the special instructions of Director General FGEHA, Captain (Rtd) Zafar Iqbal, electricity has been initially provided to the testing pole installed in Sector 24-B, following which the street light has officially started functioning.
This is the first operational street light in Sector 24-B, reflecting practical progress in development activities and the provision of basic civic amenities to the area. The installation and operationalization of street lighting will improve the basic infrastructure in the sector and pave the way for upcoming development phases.Speaking on the occasion, Project Director (Karachi) Ata-ul-Haq Waqas and Deputy Project Director Waqar Haider stated that activating the first street light in Sector 24-B marks an important milestone in the development project. They mentioned that under the direction of the Director General Housing Authority, development work to provide basic infrastructure in the sector is progressing in phases, with measures underway for other essential facilities as well.
