KARACHI: Additional District and Sessions court Malir has granted interim bail to Kounain Shah prime accused in the case of alleged habeas corpus and violence against Karachi university professor Arif Saqi. The court while directing the accused to file surety bonds worth Rs 20000 and to join investigation summoned the investigation officer on next hearing. According to police case against the accused is registered in Sachal police station. He is charged with subjecting the professor to torture and keeping him in habeas corpus. Hearing of the case was adjourned till September 21. Online
