ABBOTTABAD: The Anti-Terrorism Court Abbottabad handed death sentence to two persons for abducting and killing a three-year-old girl some two years ago after her parents failed to pay the ransom. According to a police report, Murwa, daughter of Faizan of Jhangi area, went missing from her home on Dec 30, 2016. Grandfather of the ill-fated girl reported the case to police that they had received a call for ransom of Rs500,000 for the girl’s release. DSP Tahir Iqbal and SHO Tahir Saleem traced the caller, Tauseef Ahmed and his accomplice Hassan Ali through the mobile call data. Later, on their identification body of Murwa was recovered from the house of Tauseef.
