PESHAWAR: The Competent Authority in Local Government and Rural Development Department, Khyber Pakhtunkhwa has notified remuneration and allowances for elected Nazimeen Village/Neighbourhood Council, Naib Nazimeen Village/Neighborhood Council and Member Village/Neighbourhood Council in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa with retrospective effect of 01st September, 2015. According to details, Nazim Village Neighbourhood Council will be paid honoraria for 2015-16 Rs.10.000/-,telephone charges Rs.2,000/- and entertainment allowance Rs.2,000/-. While Naib Nazim Village/Neighbourhood Council will be paid Rs.7,000/- and Member Village Neighbourhood Council will be paid Rs.200/day/session as honoraria for 2015-16.
It is pertinent to mention here that telephone charges are applicable both on official landline (NTC) as well as cellular (Mobile) Phones as claimed by the Nazim even simultaneously on provision of Bill. Only councilors are entitled for perdiem, against the attendance in register maintained by respective Secretary.
