Islamabad(PR):A media briefing, on the Serena Hotels Asian Tennis Tour (Asian Men’s Ranking), was held today at Islamabad Serena Hotel, which was jointly addressed by Mr. Salim Saifullah Khan, President of PTF, Mr. Shehryar Khan, Director Sports Diplomacy Serena Hotels, Muhammad Khalid Rehmani, Secretary PTF & Ms. Zubia Asher of Serena Hotel.
Serena Hotels announced at the Press Conference today, that they shall be hosting the Serena Hotels Asian Tennis Tour in collaboration with the Pakistan Tennis Federation at Syed Dilawar Abbas PTF Tennis Complex, Garden Avenue, Islamabad from 12th December to 18th December 2016.
This Championship is being hosted under the banner of Serena Hotels Sports Diplomacy Initiative. The Honorary Secretary of Pakistan Tennis Federation Muhammad Khalid Rehmani, said that more than 100 participants have already entered the tournament. Mr. Salim Saifullah Khan further informed the media that amongst many Pakistani players, Uzbek and Indian players will be seen on the courts at the Serena Hotels Asian Tennis Tour. The prize Money would be 5000 Us Dollars and Us Dollars 2000 shall be distributed among top 16 players of Men’s Singles ATT event. Rs 232000 shall be distributed in national ranking events, these events are Ladies Singles, Juniors U-18 Singles, Boys U-14 Singles, Boys U-10 Singles, Seniors 45 Plus Doubles and Seniors 60 plus Doubles.
Mr. Salim Saifullah, President PTF, made a statement that the youth of Pakistan should be encouraged to participate in all kinds of sport and like Serena Hotels other organisations should come forward to promote Pakistan.
