Children potrayed Quaid as father of nation at PNCA

Islamabad (PR): Children portrayed Quaid-e-Azam as father of the nation in a speech contest held t PNCA auditorium Islamabad being arranged by PNCA M/o information, Broadcasting & National Heritage.
The speech contest and mural painting are part of the weeklong celebrations of birth day of the Baba-e-Qaum. Children of twin cities and other areas of the country express their views on the topics “Baba-r-Qaum ko bachay kis nazar say dekhtay hain” and Quaid as Father of the Nation.
The participants paid glowering tribute to the Quaid in their speeches by saying that Quaid personality is matchless as he achieved Pakistan without using even a single bullet.
The gigantic task of liberation of the Muslims of subcontinent and creation of a separate homeland for the Muslim was materialized with the help of dialogue. The vision of Quaid for the peaceful and prosperous Pakistan early be traced to his speeches and quotes.
The turnout for the contest reflected their love and attachment with the Quaid as children from far flung areas took part in speech contest. A large number of students participated in the on spot mural painting and crated art pieces of Quaid portrait. More than 250 student took part in the on spot mural painting as conceived.
A grand competition on the topic would be held on December 25, 2016 at Liaquat Gymnasium and children aging 8 – 11 and 12 – 16 years can participate in the groups.
The creativity will be judged by experts and position will be awarded. Director General Syed Jamal Shah said that enthusiasm and participation is encouraging and the aims of the “Quaid ka Pakistan” activities have so far been achieved as the knowledge of the children about Quaid is much more than the expectation.
Winners of the contest were awarded shields and certificate. In English speech contest Areeba Shabbir from Allied School Ghori Town got 1st position, Syed M. Qasim from Kids Care School, Rawalpindi 2nd position, Fatimatuz Zehra from Divisional Public School& College, Shamsabad, Rawalpindi 3rd position & consolation was given to Safa Tariq from ICG F-6/2, Islamabad out of 44 participants.
