ISLAMABAD (INP) :A medical board comprising doctors from PIMS Hospital has been constituted to examine Tayyaba, the 10-year-old maid who was allegedly tortured while working at the residence of a judge in the federal capital.
According to a notification, the medical board will examine Tayyaba at 11 AM tomorrow, following which a report will be presented in two days.
The medical board was constituted on the orders of the district magistrate, and police have been directed to present the child. The board consisted of Dr Tariq Iqbal, Dr Hameeduddin, Dr SH Waqar and Dr Aasma.
On Wednesday, the Chief Justice of Pakistan, Justice Saqib Nisar took suo moto notice of the alleged torture of the 10-year-old maid.
The case of the alleged torture of the maid caught the media’s attention after she was recovered from the residence of Additional Sessions Judge Raja Khurram Ali Khan.
On Tuesday, the matter was settled out of court and according to the child’s father, they had forgiven the actions in the way of the Almighty.
However, the case has taken new turn after minor girl’s mother approached went to e private TV channel and recorded her statement.
According to details, maid’s mother said that her daughter with real name Sana went missing from Faisalabad in 2014. According to another report, the parents of the child have disappeared from their residence in Faisalabad.
They were discovered missing when the Child Protection Bureau arrived at the residence to the take the child into their custody.
Other people present at the residence said they were unaware of the family’s whereabouts.
