reforms in PIMS

A 20 members special committee has been constituted in connection with reforms in PIMS. As per sources committee includes renowned experts from private and public sectors. The special committee will review the administrative matters of hospital.
Committee will present recommendations for running PIMS matters.
Sources said PIMS reforms committee will present its report to Prime Minister (PM) Shehbaz Sharif.
PM will make final decision regarding PIMS in the light of committee’s report.
Sources said decision has been taken to constitute Board of Governors to run the matters of PIMS. People from different walks of life will be included in Board of governors.
It is pertinent to mention here 14 infants had died last month in fire incident in PIMS. 8 officers including Executive Director have been suspended in PIMS after the fire incident. Criminal proceedings has been initiated against the suspended officers.
