KHYBER: A local youth who was a college student passed away when a Suzuki van crashed into a loaded truck here at Charwazagai, Pak-Afghan highway, sub-division Landi Kotal on Friday morning. Police official and locals said that a speedy Suzuki van bearing registration no(JA-4841) was on its way to Landi Kotal from Peshawar rammed into an Afghanistan bound loaded, parked truck. As a result the young driver identified as Salman Khan son of Babu Khan, resident of Ragha, Kam-Shelman died on the spot. Soon after the incident, the locals rushed to the site, retrieved the body and shifted to the hospital for medico-legal formalities, locals said. The deceased was a first year student of a private college. Later on his funeral prayer was on Friday evening and was laid to rest in his ancestral graveyard.
