Lahore: A delegation of scholars led by Maulana Owais Ahmed called on Governor Punjab Balighur Rehman here at Governor House Lahore today. Talking on this occasion, Governor Punjab Muhammad Baligh ur Rahman said that Ulemas have a key role in promoting peace, brotherhood and religious tolerance in the society. He said that love, tolerance and tolerance have been emphasized in Islam and by following these orders, the society can be made a cradle of peace and love. He further said that along with education, there is a need to pay full attention to character development of students, they need to be told the importance of good manners, telling the truth and keeping promises in our religion. On this occasion, Maulana Owais Ahmed said that in the past, as the Federal Minister of Education, as the Governor of Punjab, the initiatives regarding the teaching of the Holy Quran in the educational field and especially in the educational institutions are valuable.
