KHYBER: One woman and a man passed away and two other sustained injuries when a container fell down on passenger carry van here in Shahgai area of subdivision Jamrud, district Khyber on Monday. According to the official of Jamrud police station an Afghanistan bound ghee loaded container slipped down over a nearly passing van and crushed the passengers vehicle under it. Got inform, the Rescue 1122 officials rushed to the site and retrieved the bodies and wounded. According to the Rescue officials two bodies including a woman and man and three injured were shifted to Jamrud hospital. The deceased were identified as wife of Captan and Zerab, residents of Ghundi, Jamrud while the injured were known as Jamil Ahmad, an eight years child of Iftekhar and wife of Jamshed. The woman was referred to Hayatabad Medical Complex due to precarious condition, hospital sources informed. Driver of the truck fled from the scene after the mishap, the police official told.
