ISLAMABAD: Accountability Court (AC) Islamabad has issued its written decision regarding acquittal of Chief Minister (CM) Sindh Murad Ali Shah in Noori Abad power plant case. The decision said the NAB plea for withdrawing the reference is justifiable. 17 accused including CM Sindh Murad Ali Shah are acquitted in Noori Abad power plant case. Judge Nasir Javed of AC Islamabad issued the decision of acquitting CM Sindh Murad Ali Shah and others from Noori Abad Power plant case. According to decision no evidence has been found of taking personal advantage by Murad Ali Shah and others during investigation. Reference was placed before Executive meeting of NAB on September 11. There is no such material in the record which shows that power project was built at higher cost. Chairman NAB has powers to withdraw the reference at any stage of trial.
