LAHORE: Accountability Court (AC) Lahore has acquitted Mir Shakil ur Rehman owner of Jang Group honorably in plots allotment case. The court while announcing reserved judgment remarked the prosecution could not prove allegations leveled against Mir Shakil ur Rehman. Therefore, he is acquitted. It may be mentioned that NAB Lahore had registered case against Mir Shakil ur Rehman in connection with allotment of plots 36 years before. NAB Lahore detained Mir Shakil ur Rehman as well. Online
