Rs17b corruption case
KARACHI
Accountability Court (AC) Karachi has rejected acquittal plea of Dr Asim in Rs 17 billion corruption case. The corruption reference of Rs 17 billion came up for hearing before AC Karachi against Dr Asim Hussain and others Saturday. Dr Asim Hussain and other accused appeared in the court. The court while announcing the decision rejected the acquittal plea of Dr Asim Hussain.
According to NAB Dr Asim Hussain and others are involved in corruption of Rs 17 billion in the contracts of gas.
