KASUR: Court has awarded death sentence to a person accused in raping an eleven month old baby girl here. Additional Sessions Judge Shahid Bashir has awarded death sentence and fine of Rs 3 lac to the accused Rafiq. The accused had subjected the eleven months baby girl to rape on Peerwala road. Kasur. He was living in the neighbor- hood of victim. He lured the baby girl to a shop and subjected her to rape. Sadar Police had arrested him in August 2019 and registered rape case against him. The father of victim said the culprit should be hanged publicly so the people could learn a lesson. Online
