LNG reference
ISLAMABAD: The accused in LNG reference have requested the Accountability Court (AC) to dismiss the case under new NAB laws. The counsel for the accused persons told the court trial of LNG reference cannot be held under new NAB laws. NAB prosecutor told the court the LNG reference can not be dismissed as money laundering clauses are included in this reference. Former Prime Minister (PM) Shahid Khaqan Abbasi told the court what case has to be run against me please run it. The innocent co-accused should not be entangled therein. The court remarked the accused persons who have to get relief under NAB law should file written applications. The court adjourned the hearing of the case till August 02.
