LNDIKOTAL: Additional Chief Secretary Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, Abid Majeed on Wednesday visited the Afghan Holding Camp in Landikotal in district Khyber and review the facilities and arrangements being provided to Afghan families returning to their country. Abid Majeed was accompanied by deputy commissioner Khyber captain (Retd.) Bilal Shahid, additional deputy commissioner relief Irshad Mohmand, assistant commissioner Afrasiab Zubair, tehsildar Malik Taimur Afridi, SHO Adnan Afridi and other officials. During the visit, deputy commissioner Bilal Shahid briefed the additional chief secretary about the repatriation process of Afghan families and the measures taken to facilitate their return. The briefing highlighted that basic amenities had been arranged at the holding camp to ensure a smooth and organized repatriation process. Expressing satisfaction over the arrangements, the additional chief secretary directed the concerned authorities to ensure that Afghan families face no difficulties during their return and that the available facilities be further improved.
