PESHAWAR
Acting Governor Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Mushtaq Ahmed Ghani on Wednesday launched the ‘Media Cricket League, at the Peshawar Press Club (PPC).
The Media Cricket League is a sports initiative of the PPC held every year to keep the journalist community engaged in sports activities.
On this occasion, Mushtaq Ahmad Ghani said that PPC’s initiation of league for the journalists is a positive and a healthy move.
Under this drive, sports competitions will be held for the journalists.
The Acting Governor maintained that the provincial government would utilize all available resources to provide sports opportunities for the community. Mushtaq Ghani said that sports play an important role in maintaining a healthy life.
He said that without a doubt, the journalistic community performs its professional duties under very difficult conditions, and the present provincial government is fully focused on the welfare of journalists.
