NOWSHERA
A notable social worker and activist Taj Wali Shah has appealed to national and international philanthropists to support the government and civil society efforts in relief and rehabilitation operations for flood-hit people in the district.
He said that district administration and other non-governmental organizations have established different camps to provide relief to people affected by unprecedented floods.
A free medical camp was organized in Nowshera Kalan, in which a large number of doctors checked up patients and provided medicines.
Taj Wali Shah on this occasion added that flood victims were facing a number of difficulties and need assistance and support, adding that district administration was helping flood-hit families but people should also take part in relief and rehabilitation operations to facilitate flood-hit families in district Nowshera.
