AD sealed two bakeries for using ammonium sulfate

On the complaint of a citizen, Assistant Director Consumer Protection Council Wednesday during visit to Talash Bazar sealed two bakeries over use of ammonium sulfate and poor sanitation in bakery kitchens.
On the instructions of the Director General of Industries and Commerce Khyber Pakhtunkhwa and the Deputy Commissioner of Dir Lower District, Assistant Director Consumer Protection Council Dir Lower, on the complaint of a citizen, two bakery kitchens in Talash Bazar were checked and excessive use of ammonium sulfate and poor cleanliness in the bakery.
He also issued a notice for legal action to the secretary of the illegal base for collecting more fares, taking more rides in the vehicles and taking legal action on the Khazana Bypass.
He also fined the bakers for underweight and overcharging over bread. Pamphlets were distributed for awareness among more people for timely action against those selling underweight bread.
