KHYBER: Pakistan government allowed Afghan nationals to go to Afghanistan via Torkham border on their Afghan national identity card (Tazkira) till April 29, 2022 here on Monday. It is to be mentioned here that Afghanistan inter-ministerial coordination cell (AICC) had imposed a complete ban on entry/exit into Pakistan via Torkham on Tazkira effective from April 01, 2022. Due to restriction hundreds of thousands Afghanistan bound Afghan nationals struck at Torkham border in Pakistan. In a notification, the government of Pakistan has asked the Afghan citizens who are willing to go to Kabul without proper travelling documents to move to their native country before 29th of April.2022 on Tazkira document. After expiring of the time fresh immigration policy pertaining to Afghanistan will be chalked out, it stated. Following relaxation on “exit” restrictions, a large number of Afghan citizens who thanked the Pak government for easing immegration rules for them returned back to their country through Torkham crossing.
