KHYBER: On the 15th day following expiration of deadline, 512 illegal Afghan families (2225 persons) have returned back to their home country, Afghanistan via the Torkham border. The official said on Thursday that till last day 967 Afghanis (male, female and children) repatriated after their data filing at Holding Center, Landi Kotal. In the same way 1025 persons were sent back through the Torkham crossing on special orders who were directly transported from Peshawar to the border. While 233 Afghan nationals, unlawfuly resided somewhere in the country were deported to Afghanistan, the official said. According to the security agencies, the officials enhance crackdown against illegal Afghanis in Peshawar, Nowshera, Chasadda, Mansehra and other districts of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa. It is worth mentioning here that till last night more than 214000 Afghan citizens have repatriated to Afghanistan. Meanwhile 400 repatriated illing Afghan nationals have been provided medical aid in the Holding Center, Landi Kotal. Our Correspondent
Sharing reports of the last twenty days report, Rescue 1122 District Emergency Officer, Khyber Syed Shoab Mansoor said that the Rescue 1122 center, established in the Holding point supplied medical assistance to the foreign immigrants.
