A 3-member Afghan delegation led by Afghan Security advisor Hamdullah Mohib has met former Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif here.
The prevailing situation in the region and matters of mutual interest came under discussion in the meeting.
In a special message issued by Afghan National Security Council (ANSC) that National Security Council advisor Hamdullah Mohib and state minister for peace Syed Sadat Nadri have met Nawaz Sharif in London and they exchanged views on matters of mutual interest. The picture of meeting between Afghan delegation and Nawaz Sharif has also been shared.
It was said in another statement later that the two sides agreed during the meeting that the two sides will benefit from mutual respect and policy of non interference in the internal affairs of each other. The fortification of democracy will put both the neighboring countries on the path to stability and prosperity.
Sources said the meeting was arranged by former finance minister Ghulam Ishaq Dar. He was also present in the meeting.
