Afghanistan can not be abandoned: PM

Prime Minister (PM) Imran Khan has said the world will have to recognize the reality of Afghanistan.

“If Afghanistan is left alone then different crisis will surface simultaneously. Afghanistan can not be abandoned. Kashmir issue should be addressed as per UN resolutions. We support independent and free Palestine”, he said this while addressing the 20th SCO Summit in Dushanbe on Friday

He urged the international community will have to stand with Afghanistan. All together will have to resolve Afghanistan issue. The interim government of Taliban has come in Afghanistan. Afghanistan can not be left alone.

He held Pakistan respects sovereignty of Afghanistan and is desirous of peace therein. Pakistan thinks that Afghan people should themselves take their decisions.

He underlined we are facing international challenges in the region and we all together have to deal with the problems.

He went on to say the climate change is the biggest challenge for the world. Climate change left negative impact on the region. We launched tree plantation campaign for better environment in Pakistan.; .We planted sapling in every part of the country where there was no greenery.

He remarked our national economy suffered heavily in war on terror.

He pointed out Afghanistan is facing human crisis, food, essential commodities and other challenges.

He stressed that Kashmir issue should be sorted out as per UN resolution.

The region is facing diverse challenges, he said. The entire world was affected by Corona and Pakistan will continue to play its role with the world countries for fighting against corona virus.
