Federal Minister for Law Senator Azam Nazeer Tarar said that all resources will be used for release of Dr Afia Sadiqui.
While talking on Call to attention notice Senator Mushtaq Ahmad Khan in Senate meeting on Thursday said that I went to America to meet with imprisoned Dr Afia Sadiqui.
He said that Dr. Aafia has been in the American jail for 7452 days and she is being severely tortured.
We meet Dr. Aafia after 20 years; she is brought in chains and has broken four teeth.
Her hearing is affected and the scarf is torn, we can’t even show her pictures of her children.
He said that when she was abducted in 2003, she was accompanied by her six-month-old son Sulaiman, who is still missing.
He said that he met him for three hours.
I request the government to look into this case, he is neither an American citizen nor involved in any kind of terrorism, He said.
It is alleged that she was found in Ghazni and 4 American soldiers had interrogated her.
During this time, they snatched a gun from an American and fired at him, but no American soldier was injured or killed in this firing.
He said that the prison she is in has 235 prisoners who are incarcerated for sex crimes.
She is imprisoned in hell and she demands that she should be taken out of this hell.
He said that government should become plaintiff in Dr Afia Sadiqui case.
She has been imprisoned in mental patient imprisonment for 15 years and she should given relief.
He said that president in America has authority to forgive any foreigner prisoner on the event of presidential elections in America.
People imprisoned for spying for Russia and Iran have also been released.
He said similarly, the government level should also demand the release of Dr Afia Sadiqui in response to the steps taken by Pakistan for America.
Efforts should also be made to transfer her from the textile gel to a suitable place.
All political parties know that Dr Afia Sadiqui.
If we can release Raymond Davis, why we cannot take steps to release Dr Afia Sadiqui?
He said that no such documents are being provided to us regarding case.
Dr Afia Sadiqui is innocent and oppressed.
He requested to all members of political parties including Chairman Senate to make sincere efforts for release of Dr Afia Sadiqui.
Federal Law Minister Senator Azam Nazir Tarar said that it has been informed in written by Foreign Ministry that Federal Minister and State Minister are not present in country.

He said that safety of citizens is responsibility of state.
He said that Dr Afia Sadiqui is daughter of this nation.
Every government has made efforts on this matter.
