No nomination papers submitted against Businessmen Forum Candidates for slot of president, senior vice president and vice president, Election Commission

Afshan Khan, Hooria Khan and Tajallah Khalid elected president, senior vice president and vice president unopposed of the Women Chamber of Commerce and Industry for 2026-28.
A meeting of the three member election commission for Women Chamber of Commerce and Industry Election 2026-28, consisting of Shahida Mazhar, Furrukh Naz and Tania Bashir met today here at the chamber, said in a press release here on Monday.
The election commission thoroughly conducted scrutiny of nomination papers.
No nomination paper was submitted against the Businessman Forum nominated candidates for vacant seats of President, Senior Vice President and Vice President of the Women Chamber of Commerce and Industry Peshawar, according to the election commission.
Therefore, the election commission said Afshan Khan elected unopposed President WCCIP, while Hooria Khan elected unopposed as senior vice president and Tajjallah Khan as vice president of the women chamber.
It is worth mentioning here that the Annual General Meeting (AGM) of the Women Chamber of Commerce and Industry will be held on September 21 next.
The newly elected office bearers of the Women Chamber will formally take charge of their respective office on October 1.
