AI based legal assistant ‘YourMunshi’ launched

Pakistan’s first AI-powered legal assistant, ‘YourMunshi’, has officially been launched. This AI platform efficiently integrates the country’s judicial system and legal history, providing substantial convenience for the legal community, including lawyers and judges, in handling their legal tasks.
‘YourMunshi’ aims to support the judicial system of Pakistan by facilitating lawyers and judges in preparing applications for filing cases, maintaining daily case diaries, and accessing detailed judicial decisions within minutes.
During the session at the Karachi Bar Association Hall at City Court Complex Karachi, Aamir Zahoor, co-founder of YourMunshi, thoroughly briefed the participants on the benefits of AI and its growing global applications in the legal field and how Pakistan is now part of this exciting race because of YourMunshi.
Advocate Adam Jabbar demonstrated how lawyers could effectively use YourMunshi to streamline their legal work.
His hands-on guidance helped participants understand how the platform could ease routine legal processes and enhance efficiency.
YourMunshi’s Co-Founder and Country Manager, Waqas Ahmed, emphasized the importance of AI in legal support and its relevance to Pakistan’s judicial system.

Amir Warich (President Karachi Bar Association), Irshad Channa (General Secretary Karachi Bar Association), Muner A Malik (Former President Karachi Bar Association), Sarfarz Metlo (General Secretary Sindh High Court Bar Association), Ihsan Siyal (Member Sindh Bar Council and Chairman Legal Education Committee), Shahid Shafeeq (Senior Faculty Member Sindh Judicial Acadmy), and Mohammad Tahir Iqbal Malik of the Legal Rights Forum were among the notable speakers.
They highlighted the importance of adopting AI technology for the legal profession. The speakers collectively stressed that the future success of lawyers would depend on integrating modern technology into their legal practices, leading to savings in both time and money.
They also called for more AI workshops for the legal community and congratulated the team behind YourMunshi on their initiative.
An orientation session on YourMunshi was also conducted at the Sindh Judicial Academy for the Judges and officers of the Sindh Judicial Academy.
Waqas Ahmad, Co-Founder and Country Manager of YourMunshi, led the orientation session, which was followed by a series of questions on YourMunshi and AI.
During the Question and Answer session, judicial use cases were discussed, and a practical demonstration was provided on the use cases discussed.
