Al-Khidmat Foundation head visits Holding Center, Landi Kotal


KHYBER: Central head of Al-Khidmat Foundation, Pakistan Dr Hafeez-ur-Rehman reviewed arrangements set up for facilitation of repatriated Afghan Families during his visit to the Holding Center, Landi Kotal on Monday. Flanked by provincial chief of the Foundation Khalid Waqas and local leader of Jamat-e-Islami, Khyber Dr Hafeez-ur-Rehman met with Afghan immigrants and had breakfast with them. He also distributed sweaters among the children of the retreated Afghan families. Speaking on the occasion the visiting guest said that from the day first, Al-Khidmat Foundation was the front line organization to serve the Afghan immigrants and strived hard to ease them while returning back to their homes. Serving humanity is the motto of the Al-Khidmat Foundation and it will continue its services without discrimination in natural and human made disasters, he opined. He appreciated local volunteers of the organization who left no stone unturned to work for the betterment of repatriated Afghan nationals. Earlier, Dr Hafeez-ur-Rehman examined Al-Khidmat camp where he was briefed of the services, placed for the relief of the Afghan immigrants. AHMAD NABI
