Al- NAFEES MEDICAL COLLEGE & HOSPITAL ORGANISED A ONE DAY FREE MEDICAL CAMP IN TUMAIR VILLAGE ISLAMABAD.

Islamabad (July 20): Al-Nafees Medical College & Hospital, operating under the management of Isra University Islamabad Campus, organized a one-day Free Medical Camp in Tumair Village, Islamabad, where specialist doctors provided free medical consultations and medicines to more than 600 patients.

The camp offered healthcare services in the specialties of Medicine, General Surgery, Gynecology & Obstetrics, Pediatrics, Dermatology, ENT (Ear, Nose & Throat), and Ophthalmology. Patients received free medicines, medical consultations, and health education on disease prevention, personal hygiene, and healthy living. Those requiring further treatment were referred to Al-Nafees Medical College & Hospital for specialized care.

Speaking on the occasion, Mr. Mashooq Ali Bhatti, Director Services, Isra University Islamabad Campus, said that the mission of Isra University and Al-Nafees Medical College & Hospital is to make quality healthcare accessible to every segment of society, particularly in underserved areas where basic medical facilities are limited. He emphasized that the university will continue organizing such welfare medical camps in different communities as part of its commitment to public service.

Dr. Khawaja Tasawur Riaz, Medical Superintendent, Al-Nafees Medical College & Hospital, stated that healthcare is a fundamental right of every citizen. He noted that all patients attending the camp received comprehensive medical examinations, free medicines, and expert medical advice. He appreciated the dedication of the doctors, paramedical staff, and volunteers, adding that serving humanity is the true spirit of the medical profession.

The successful organization of the medical camp was made possible through the valuable support of local community leaders Chaudhry Sajid, Chaudhry Faizan, Chaudhry Zahid, and Chaudhry Maqsood Ahmed, who played a significant role in local coordination, community outreach, and ensuring maximum public participation, enabling a large number of residents to benefit from this welfare initiative.
