Anti Terrorism Court (ATC) Rawalpindi while accepting exemption plea of Aleema Khan for one day in November 26 protest case has ordered her to appear before it on February 23.
Judge Amjid Ali Shah of ATC took up the case for hearing Friday. The court approved one day exemption plea of Aleema Khan for February 20 besides adjourning the hearing of the case till February 23.
The petition said earlier the date was fixed February 23 and then it was changed as 20. This change in the date is not in the knowledge of Aleema Khan.
The court also summoned the last two prosecution witnesses investigation officers.
The court ordered cross examination in respect of last two witnesses be completed on next date.
Call up notices in respect of all the other accused in November 26 protest case were issued.
The prosecutor said cross questioning on statements of 16 witnesses has been completed in November 26 protest case and now only two last have been left.
State case will be completed following the completion of cross questioning of investigation officers.
