MULTAN, November 26 (Online): Ali Musa Gillani, son of former Prime Minister (PM) Yousuf Raza Gillani and other PPP leaders have been granted bail in the case on holding protest rally without permission.
Areas magistrate has accepted bail plea of Ali Musa Gillani and others arrested PPP leaders.
Ali Musa Gillani had reached Chahleek police area for staging protest rally and police arrested them and registered case against them for holding protest rally without permission.
4 sons of Yousuf Raza Gillani and PPP leaders Khawaja Rizwan and divisional president Khalid Lodhi were named in the case.
Police had arrested PPP workers for violating corona virus SOPs.
PPP leader Qamar Zaman Kaira said government has been holding public meeting itself and ban is being imposed on opposition public meetings. Prime Minister himself does not follow Corona SOPs and on the other hand they criticize opposition on this count.
