JI Amir Hafiz Naeem has said if government does not go back on the matter of levy then JI will go ahead.
Talking to media men here in Islamabad he said the entire system of government is not delivering to people. Pakistan has to accept the conditions of IMF due to failure of system.
“Jugga” tax is being collected from people in form of levy. The objective for imposing levy was decreasing the cost of petroleum products. If government does not go back on the matter of levy then JI will go forward.
He held the price of diesel was lowered by Rs 30 while this reduction should have been Rs 130. If levy is abolished then price of petroleum products can go to level of Rs 200 to Rs 250.
He held if talks are held with IPPs then price of electricity can be reduced by 30 percent.
He said that loadshedding is continuing in the country and even then capacity payments are being recovered.
He claimed government has talked to us for negotiations.
He further said Supreme Court decision about Imran Khan should have come earlier. All political prisoners including Imran Khan should be set free, he urged.
