PESHAWAR
Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Minister for Livestock and Agriculture Mohibullah Khan has directed the quarter concerned to utilize all available resources for preventing animals from lump skin disease in the province.
In this effect, the Director General Livestock (Extension) Alamzeb Khan called an emergency meeting of district officers of Livestock on Tuesday to review the overall preparations for controlling the lumpy skin disease and congo virus spread in the cattles.
On this occasion Director General Live Stock Extension Alamzeb khan said that the Provincial Minister for Agriculture and Livestock Mohibullah Khan and Secretary Mohammad Israr have asked the concerned officers of the department to utilize their capabilities to prevent the spread of Lumpy skin and Congo Virus diseases .
DG further said that the doctors and Veterinary assistants will be available during eid holidays to help prevent the diseases.
Mr Alamzeb said that strict action will be taken against the officials showing lethargy and negligence in their duties in this crucial situation.
