ISLAMABAD: President Arif Alvi on Monday expressed deep grief and sorrow over the loss of precious lives in a stampede at a football ground in Indonesia. At least 125 people have been killed and dozens more injured in a riot and a stampede at an Indonesian football stadium. The tragedy on Saturday night in the eastern city of Malang was one of the world’s deadliest sporting stadium disasters. In his condolatory message, the President extended his condolences to the bereaved families, the government and the people of Indonesia.
