Amir Mehmood Kiani appointed PTI’s additional secretary general

Federal Minister for information and broadcasting Fawad Chaudhry said Saturday that Prime Minister Imran Khan had appointed Amir Mehmood Kiani as ruling Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI)’s additional secretary general.
It may be recalled here that Prime Minister Imran Khan, Friday had announced to dissolve PTI’s organizational structure after party’s defeat in first phase of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa local government elections.
In a statement on Saturday, Fawad Chaudhry announced that Prime Minister had announced revamping party’s organizational structure.
Federal minister for planning and development works Asad Umar was declared party’s general secretary. Parvez Khattak was named as party’s Khyber Pakhtunkhwa chapter’s president, Ali Zaidi as PTI-Sindh’s president, Qasim Suri as the president of the Balochistan chapter of ruling PTI, while Shafqat Mehmood and Khusro Bakhtyar were named as presidents of Central and South Punjab’s chapter respectively.
