An earthquake of 5.2 on Richter scale jolts different cities of Pakistan

ISLAMABAD: A powerful earthquake measuring 5.2 on the Richter scale has struck different parts of country on Tuesday morning. As per the Met Office, the earthquake occurred at 10:20am with its origin at the depth of 190 kilometres and epicentre in Afghanistan’s Hindu Kush region. Tremors of earthquake have been felt in different cities of the country. The tremors were felt in the areas of Islamabad, Rawalpindi, Peshawar, Abbottabad, Charsadda, Chitral, Haripur, Malakand, Batkhela, Mansehra, Mingora, Swat, Balakot, Battagram, Kohistan, and Toghrar, Swabi, Mardan, People came out of their homes and offices reciting Kalima Tayyaba. No loss to life or property has been reported so far. APP
