The Anti Narcotics Force (ANF) has seized 3546.783 Kg Drugs and other prohibited items worth 773.421 Million US Dollars, it emerged.
According to a statement by the ANF, it arrested 44 persons during different operations in different parts of country including 1 woman and impounded 17 vehicles.
Revealing further details of the operations conducted, the ANF said in its statement that 2825.25 Kg drugs were recovered in Balochistan, 79.963 Kg in Punjab, 184.785 Kg in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa (KPK), 274.946 Kg in Sindh, while 181.839 Kg drugs were recovered in Northern Areas of country.
“All cases have been registered at respective ANF Police Stations under CNS Act 1997 and further investigations are under process,” the ANF statement added.
