The 21st meeting of the Academic Council of Abdul Wali Khan University Mardan was held under the chairmanship of Vice-Chancellor Dr Zahoorul Haq. The meeting decided to resume admission in MA MSc in the light of orders issued by Higher Education Islamabad and also approved to start associate degree programs in various fields and launch associate degree programs in departments will also expand online education policy during the Corona epidemic.
The proposals were reviewed that were put forward in different educational fields.
These proposals will be presented for further action at the forthcoming meeting of the Academic Council.
Dr Zahoorul Haq while addressing the participants of the meeting said that the Academic Council is an important statutory body for the development and improvement of the academic and research fields of the University.
The Vice Chancellor said that the university administration strives to equip its students with modern knowledge and make them useful citizens of the society.
So that the graduates from here can play a positive role in practical life and fulfill their duty of service not only for themselves but also for the country and nation in real sense.
The Vice Chancellor further said that thanks to the modern system of Abdul Wali Khan University, 1300 scholarships have been provided this year under Ehsas Scholarship Program which is based on all the merits and education is free for orphans minority and disable students of the university.
The university administration is continuing its efforts to expand the research activities and provide all possible facilities to the students and scholars studying here.
