The provincial president of Awami National Party (ANP) Aimal Wali Khan on Monday criticized former Prime Minister Imran Khan for speaking against the state institutions in public rallies.
Aimal Wali Khan said that ousted Prime Minister Imran Khan has decided to take sympathies of people by targeting state institutions, adding that he had lost his conscience after being ousted from parliament through a no-confidence vote.
The ANP provincial president said that the army has made it clear through its official statement that political leaders should keep the army away from political affairs the way Imran Khan uses their names in public rallies.
“Behind Imran’s confusion is the fear of corruption cases and foreign funding cases, Imran Khan is trying to make the institutions controversial to avoid punishment,” he added.
Aimal Khan accused Imran Khan for creating political unrest to push the country into the 70s politically and wanted division among state institutions.
ANP provincial president said Imran’s only demand was to restore his government at the cost of the state system.
