PESHAWAR
The provincial president of Awami National Party (ANP) Amil Wali Khan on Monday announced to expose alleged corruption of Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) in Bus Rapid Transit (BRT) project.
Addressing a public meeting in Charsadda, the provincial president alleged PTI provincial government for committing Rs34 billion corruptions in BRT-Peshawar project, adding that corruption and irregularities of the provincial government would be exposed.
He went on to say that PTI government plundered resources of the province only to keep its power intact in KP, adding that all deals enacted with major contractors in major developmental schemes would be revealed very soon.
KP was deprived of the net profit of electricity and gas, the terror-affected districts were totally sidelined in the development budgets by the provincial government and funds for opposition parties have been slashed during the last nine-years of PTI government in the province, he added.
Aimal Wali said that PTI chairman and former prime minister made a number of promises with the people but none of them was fulfilled. He took record highest loans from the international financial institutions. ANP provincial president said that a conspiracy has been hatched to create division between Sindhi and Pashtuns in Sindh province but political leadership have decided deal with ethnic tensions in the province prudently.
“The supremacy of the Constitution is the guarantee of Pakistan’s survival. No one is allowed in the country to transgress its lawful limits,” he added.
