ANP condemns Lahore’s Anarkali blast

PESHAWAR: Awami National Party (ANP) central president Asfandyar Wali Khan has condemned the blast in Lahore’s Anarkali Bazaar and said that successive in acts of terrorism created fear among masses. ANP chief in a statement issued from Bacha Khan Markaz here on Thursday said that terrorists have regrouped in the country and targeting police personnel. Asfandyar said that government should take pragmatic measures to control terrorism and provide security to its people. The ANP chief said that if the fire was not stopped, no one’s house would be spared. Targeting people, including innocent children, is an inhumane act and serious steps must be taken to prevent it he added. ANP had blocked the way of terrorists and sacrificed lives but the incumbent government has observed pin drop silence over the acts of terrorism in the country. He said that Instead of fear, practical steps should be taken to protect the lives and property of the people. DLP Report
