PESHAWAR: The Awami National Party (ANP) on Tuesday submitted a resolution in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa (KP) Assembly condemning the ‘unconstitutional actions’ of the Deputy Speaker during the no-confidence motion in the Assembly. ANP provincial general secretary Sardar Hussain Babak submitted the resolution stating that the deputy speaker of the National Assembly attacked the constitution of Pakistan, trampled on the assembly rules and regulations and created a constitutional crisis in the country. He said that Imran Khan along with the Speaker and the Deputy Speaker have ridiculed the Constitution of Pakistan. The resolution further said that Imran Khan has attacked the constitution by fleeing instead of fulfilling the legal requirements. This act is tantamount to violating the rights of 220 million people, he added. DLP Report
