MARDAN
A comprehensive training workshop titled “ANP Digital Movement” was organized by the Awami National Party (ANP) Mardan here on Sunday, with the aim of enhancing the digital capabilities of the party’s social media workers and adapting them to modern requirements. Social media representatives from all tehsils of Mardan district participated in the workshop.
Former Chief Minister Khyber-Pakhtunkhwa, Amir Haider Hoti was chief guest on this occasion. The workshop was attended by Provincial secretary finance Haroon Khan, district president Imran Mandori, district general secretary Haji Bin Yameen, district spokesperson Haris Khan, presidents and general secretaries of all tehsils of Mardan district, party office bearers and a large number of social media workers.
On this occasion, provincial culture secretary Akbar Hoti, gave a detailed presentation on the effective use of social media. He highlighted the role of digital media in modern political communication, social media algorithms, preparation of effective content, strategies for increasing public outreach in a natural way, effective use of hashtags, digital ethics, identifying and remediating misinformation, and various aspects of communicating the party’s position to the public in a responsible manner.
Addressing the workshop, Amir Haider Hoti said that in the present era, social media has become a very effective tool for communication, awareness-raising and bringing about positive change. He urged the party’s social media workers to effectively highlight the ideology, democratic values and national vision of the party through digital platforms. He directed that the workers should avoid negative behavior, spread of misinformation and unnecessary confrontation and always represent the party in a polite, responsible and fact-based manner.
He further said that the real strength of the party lies in its democratic traditions, peaceful political struggle and spirit of public service. He urged the young workers to take advantage of modern digital means to effectively convey the party’s message to the masses and establish positive and meaningful connections with them. A question and answer session was also held during the workshop, in which participants discussed in detail practical issues related to social media management, digital communication, content strategy and online public relations.
The aim of the training was to equip party workers with modern digital skills and further strengthen the party organized, effective and active presence on various social media platforms. At the end of the workshop, the participants appreciated the initiative and expressed their determination to use social media responsibly, ethically and effectively to convey the ideology and message of the party to the public and further strengthen the party’s digital reach.
