PESHAWAR: Awami National Party (ANP) on Monday submitted an adjourned motion against the increasing incidents of terrorism in Swat district of the province in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Assembly. The motion was submitted by the Member of Provincial Assembly (MPA) and Parliamentary Leader of ANP Sardar Hussain Babik. A written application submitted by the lawmaker to the speaker maintained that the law and order situation in the Swart district is deteriorating with each passing day. He stated that increasing terrorist attacks have caused severe panic and unrest among the local population. Sardar Hussain Babik requested the speaker of KP Assembly that his motion should be accepted for a debate so that the facts about the district could be brought before the public. ANP leader has also criticized the provincial government for observing pin drop silence over the attacks on people in the Swat, adding that the government has failed to maintain law and order situation in Swat.
