Awami National Party, an ally of the PML-N government, has resigned from the membership of Prime Minister s Flood Relief Committee.
The Prime Minister s Flood Relief Committee became inactive after Senator Arbab Umar Farooq resigned from the membership of the PM’s Flood Relief Committee and sent his resignation to the Prime Minister s Office.
On this occasion, Senator Arbab Umar Farooq said that the committee was established to estimate the damages and relief related to the flood. He said, unfortunately, despite the passage of many months, the meeting regarding the flood could not be convened.
