The Awami National Party Mardan chapter suffered serious differences and the newly elected general secretary of tehsil urban, Qaiser Ali Durrani has announced to quit the party office and basic membership and announced to start a movement in the name of Abdali Qaumi Ittihad.
Addressing to a news conference at Mardan press club Qaisar Ali Durrani said that ANP is not a party but a Rajwara. He added that the workers are divided in Mardan and the defeat in the recent general elections is the main reason for the differences in party.
He said that the leadership of the party is weak, there is no decision-making power among the leaders, there is no heir of the workers, no action has been taken to remove their legitimate grievances and for mutual unity and agreement among them. The party leaders cannot distinguish between workers and servants. Qaisar Ali Durrani said that for the past fifteen years, he has been engaged in the service of God’s creatures with the party ideology.
He argued that in the recent inter-party elections, some leaders threw axes at his feet, because of which he became upset and defeated his ambitions by winning the party election and proved that Allah gives honor to him. He argued that Allah gives honor and he wins the intra party election.
He said that now he can no longer go with the party, he is also leaving the General Secretary ship of the party and the seat of TRC Chairman while also resigning from the basic membership of ANP.
